The Landscape Architect leads the delivery of landscaping design projects of medium complexity. They work closely with Project Managers and design teams to develop different landscape design options and to refine selected designs across the project design cycle, including conceptual landscape designs, preliminary, final detailed designs and tender documents for landscape projects of medium complexity. The jobholder shall stay abreast of the latest trends and developments in landscaping design and share his knowledge with team members.

We are looking for a competent Security Officer to undertake the surveillance of premises and protection of staff and visitors. You will be responsible for detecting any suspicious behavior and preventing vandalism, thefts or other criminal behavior. A security officer must be well-trained in surveillance and dealing with perpetrators. The ideal candidate will inspire respect and authority as well as possess a high level of observation. The goal is to help companies in maintaining excellent working conditions by keeping their facilities safe and problem-free.

Responsibilities
Identify and prioritize security and safety needs for each client.
Monitor physical security, network video and fire systems in a 24/7 rotation.
Provide, request and direct emergency response as necessary.
Provide reception and access control for visitors, vendors and contractors.
Take initial reports and information from established communication channels.
Complete daily activity logs & incident reports.
Secure post and buildings according to established department protocols.
Conduct roves during business operating hours.
Provide oversight and direction to contract security personnel.
Complete day-to-day clerical processing for employee life cycle including ID creation, and access credentials.
Enforces parking policies.
Operates marked security vehicles for patrol, deterrent and incident response.
Other security duties and support roles as assigned.

Job Requirements
1-3 years related experience.
Knowledge of security and public safety procedures and protocols.
In depth knowledge of Network Video and Access Control Systems.
Keen surveillance skills and detailed orientation.
PC skills (Word, Access, and Excel preferred).
Ability to coordinate contract security officers.

Education and certifications
High school diploma or equivalent.
Specialized training in security procedures, or equivalent, preferred.
First Aid and CPR/AED certification required.

Physical / functional requirements
Frequent to constant standing, walking, or sitting for extended periods of time.
Work site may be a normal office or warehouse environment with moderate noise levels.
Physical mobility and stamina to run, rapidly ascend/descend flight of stairs (possibly more depending upon necessary emergency response – i.e. Must be able to drag 150 pounds across a distance of 25 yards), bending, twisting, and reaching.
Carry and utilize two way radio.
Ability to perform consistent PC work.
Occasional outside work in all environmental conditions: including heat, rain, wind, and snow.
Flexibility to work various shifts and job assignments.
Overtime and holiday work may be required.
Must have a valid Driver’s License.
